The Bosch GKE18V-40 18V 16" Chainsaw delivers powerful cordless cutting performance for thick branches, firewood, beams, and rough lumber without the hassle of cords or gas. Equipped with a 16" bar and a high-efficiency brushless motor, this chainsaw provides fast, consistent cutting with a chain speed of 40.7 ft/s.
Built for demanding cutting applications, the GKE18V-40 features OptiCut Technology, which automatically adjusts speed and torque to handle heavier loads smoothly. This helps maintain steady cutting performance through tougher material without unnecessary interruptions.
When paired with an EXPERT 18V 8 Ah High Power Battery sold separately, the chainsaw can deliver up to 164 cuts per charge when cutting 4" x 4" pressure-treated wood. The automatic oiling system keeps the bar and chain lubricated during use, while the tooled tensioning system allows for efficient chain adjustment and maintenance using the included onboard scrench.
For added user control, the chainsaw includes an electronic motor brake that stops the chain when the trigger is released and a kickback brake that helps stop the chain in the event of sudden tool reaction. A lightweight, balanced design, low vibration, and soft-grip rear handle improve comfort during extended cutting applications.
